On April 18, 2020, Elder Josh Thompson returned home from his mission. For the past 15 months he has been preparing himself to go back on his mission. He has spent time in Utah working with his Uncle Cliff and attending school in Rexburg, Idaho at Brigham Young University- Idaho. On July 16, 2021, he received notice that he was once again called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was reassigned to the Texas Houston South mission. He was thrilled. He had a little over a week to get everything ready. He finished finals and drove to Elk Grove, CA. He flew to Houston Texas on July 26, 2021. President and Sister Richards met him and all new 36 missionaries.
